Italian as an experience: Le Marche through language and artwork.
Here is a practical guide to the Italian language for foreign travelers. The activity is completely different from the traditional ones, because it is concentrated in a week, with short daily meetings of about an hour and a half, all highly pragmatic, in presence, in the place of stay, with circumscribed objectives and in tune with the relaxed atmosphere of a vacation. This is usually combined with "field" activities lasting a few hours to a full day.

Workshops at a local craftsman to see and learn through practical experience the first steps in the various traditional arts of the region: from ceramics to reed weaving, from jewelry to hat making . (organized by Federico Brocani of Marchecraft)
Visits to farms, agritourisms and local producers, especially winemakers, wine cellars and oil mills.
Visits to cities and places of art and worship.
Of course always in Italian with the guide and the assistance of the tutor before, during and after the activity.
Goals
The activity is addressed to foreign travelers with different levels of knowledge of the Italian language, from beginner to intermediate, and aims to provide useful tools to engage in defined situations, establish an atmosphere of empathy with the Italian context, and fully enjoy the local hospitality.

Monday to Friday, 1,5 hours linguistic workshop per day

Linguistic contents
A stay in Italy is a good opportunity to practice the language and try to communicate in a variety of everyday situations.

8 hours of linguistic activity, 5 sessions of about one hour and half each, 5 days during a week, from Monday to Friday.
A special day session dedicated to a guided experience in the laboratory of a local craftsman. Participants will have the opportunity to observe the craftsman at work, talk with him, ask questions, learn how to work the raw materials and produce their own objects under the guidance of the master.
Define and practice a series of mini-dialogues in high frequency situations to be analyzed and used throughout the week e.g.: greeting, introducing yourself, asking and getting information, time and day, thanking, offering, accepting, declining, entering a store and buying, etc.
Use of games, role play activities, matching, etc.
Focus on commonly used vocabulary in the situations in which the participant will find himself disengaged during his stay
Analysis and daily review of situations experienced during the stay.

Reconnaissance of the terms and expressions that participants will hear during the meeting. In particular, the instructions that they will receive during the internship, names of materials, tools, and actions that will be carried out by the craftsman and that the participants will have to carry out in their turn. During the meeting the participants will be able to confront each other using their mother tongue. The tutor will offer linguistic assistance at any time.

Feedback
Audio/video recording of some moments of the daily meetings and of the experience with the craftsman or at the farmhouse. This material will constitute - upon authorization of the participants - the feedback of the activities carried out and will be distributed among all participants at the end of the activities for memory and review.
